BRAYCO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hello - I thought it would be a good idea to give a few more details about the expected delivery times and warranty details for items purchased from us - hope it's helpful - regards, Harry.

WARRANTIES

All our products come with the warranties stated on the auction listings - on most items, this is 12 months. This covers you manufacturing defects in the products purchased. Unfortunately (and I hope, understandably), it does not cover you for breakages or malfunction caused by accidents or misuse. It also doesn't cover breakage in transit (that is what postal insurance is for).

So, if you drop a set of glass scales and they break or you drop them in a sink of water and they stop working -- they are not covered. If they stop working through normal use - they are covered.

POSTAL INSURANCE

We recommend the small charge for postal insurance. Why?

We pack everything extremely carefully - you should see our bubble wrap bill - and we test all items before they are sent. But, all our items are delicate and it is inevitable that a small proportion are damaged in the post.

If you take out postal insurance and something happens, you are covered against all costs. You send the item back to us and we send you a brand-new replacement and pay for the postage BOTH WAYS.

Without insurance, if you ask nicely, we will probably sell you a replacement extremely cheaply - because I hate unhappy customers. But I will insist that you pay for the postage both ways.

So, please consider the postal insurance - the small number of people that have had to rely on it were happy they got it!
